Parent FAQs

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

Fees vary slightly between locations. When you select your school on the “Register for My School Program“ page and submit the form you can view the prices, details and other important information specific to your school program. There is no fee or payment to register but it is required so that we know which school, age group, etc.

Payments can be made via credit after you have secured your place. Contact us if you would prefer alternative methods of payment.

Payments are made via a monthly-subscription-payment (or in a single payment option) to help parents by spreading their fees over the terms months.

How long are the sessions?

What to Bring:

  • Water bottle, hat, suntan cream
  • Their shoes MUST be suitable for ball-kicking & running + longer style socks if possible, for easy shin-pad wearing.

What to Wear:

  • Clothing they can run around and move freely in.
  • Uniforms are fine or you may prefer them to use something else. If they need to change it will have to be in the School toilets/change rooms; please note this will be unsupervised as adults do not enter these areas unless there is an emergency.
  • Shin-pads. It is recommended that children use shin pads that are easy to slip into their socks without taking their shoes off.

Pick-up & drop off details: (Safe procedures are implemented at both times.)

  • Before-After School Care (OSHC): Individual arrangements are made to make it easy for them and your child in their care.

**Please remember, OSHC may require notice and an Authorization Form completed to allow your child to leave/return to OSHC.

  • Parent/Guardian:
    • Drop-off
      • Please ensure your child arrives at the session-location before the start time so they can be marked on the attendance register.
      • They should have been to the toilet and, if required, changed into their training clothing while they were at the toilet (because there are no change room on the field)
    • Pick-up
      • As it can be quite chaotic, please ensure you are there (ie not waiting for them in the car) just before their finish time to collect your child personally.

Our emergency contact & number during a session

Direct everything to your Head Coach:

  • For any emergency, please call your Head Coach on their mobile phone directly. They will do their best to take all calls immediately but if they don’t answer please call straight back, they will stop everything and your call will be answered.
  • For any non-emergency-urgent matter eg. relate to the current session & are urgent; (like changes to today’s pick-up procedures, etc) please txt your msg to the Head Coach who checks all their txt messages prior to letting the children leave the current session. (NB. Voice messages will not be effective if it is important).
  • For any non-emergency & non-urgent matters; please leave a detailed voice message and the Head Coach will get back to you when they can.

Absence

Please remember to advise your head coach if your child will not be attending a session to stop any escalation of our response if they are missing without a reason.

Cancellation of a session due to wet weather

  • The school will generally close its oval if it is raining or the oval is unsafe. If this is the case, the session will be cancelled.
  • We will send out notice of the cancellation of a session as soon as we are advised.
  • Please make it clear to your child that if it is raining, the session will be cancelled and you’re normal after school procedure will be followed.

Make-up day

We will try but unfortunately, due to the limited spaces and restrictions on our session times at the schools, we generally don’t have the ability to offer Make-up days.
